Who are you and what do you do?
Hi, I'm Chris and I head up all things Youth here at All Saints.
What have you been up to this week?
Well we have just come back from the infamous HOUSEPARTY, which is our 5-day youth retreat that happens every Easter. Houseparty is for all young people from Y6-Y13 and is undoubted the best week of the youth ministry calendar! There is lots of crazy activities from archery to high ropes, football to life-sized crafts, small group bible studies to big group worship times! You wouldn't want to miss it!
What is the most challenging part of the week?
Probably the lack of sleep! haha! Houseparty is GO GO GO. So it is essential to have some time off afterwards to chill!
What is the best part of the week?
The best part of this year’s Houseparty was definitely the 10 youngsters who became Christians! That was awesome! Also we saw God do some healing miracles had there was lots and lots of laughter (usually at my expense)!
How can the church family get involved in Houseparty?
Oh so many ways! Praying, giving, volunteering, and supporting!
We are so thankful this year for the church family’s generosity in prayer and giving! Houseparty runs on a premise that everybody can come whether they can pay or not. This year everybody that wanted to come, did come, which makes me so joyful!
